I became aware of the Painting A Day phenomenon through Duane Kaiser’s blog, A Painting A Day. Aside from being in awe of someone disciplined enough to do anything every day for a year, other than drinking coffee, I was in awe of Duane’s fabulous painting talent.
I recently tested my artistic discipline by taking one photograph of one object in different settings for 30 consecutive days. I surprised myself and was able to fulfill the project.
Armed with that newfound sense of resolve, this morning I revamped my former Leslie’s Blogger into Leslie’s Drawing A Day.
I did add a disclaimer…it may become “a-drawing-pretty-often” blog, rather than a drawing-a-day blog.
One never knows.
