The 7th arcanum of the Tarot deck.
No particular reason. I like the symmetry. I wanted to create my own interpretation of the imagery.
The pencil sketch, on the left, was done on white copy paper from my printer. I ran out of “room” on the left side of the sketch, so I taped another piece of paper underneath, and kept on sketching. There is never paper big enough. Or, I don’t plan well, is probably the case. Maybe that is why it is called a “sketch”, ’cause it’s sketchy.
I made some copies of the pencil sketch, and used one to “color”.
That is what the color picture is, on the right.
I started with a copy of the pencil sketch, and used my Derwent colored pencils to play with some color placement.

Been saving this little classified ad for years. I think it’s pretty concise.

I stole this dictionary. Yes, I did.

Thought you’d like to see a picture of my prize. In this instance, a picture is of many thousands of words…

Canon Power Shot A640 10.0 mega pixels. Zoom lens, and whole lot more, but I am techno challenged, and still call buttons on the computer and camera “thingeys”.
I have been shown which “thingeys” to push to make the camera work, and how to load the pictures to files on the computer using the computer button thingeys… OK. I am a tad more knowledgeable than that, but the jargon is still part of my learning curve.
When they say “browse”, it means riffle through the files. When they say download, they mean load up. Scroll up is when the picture on the screen moves down, when you click activate on the plugins you deactivate them and queue up the word activate for next time you go in to change things.
So why am I confused?
Despite all this, I love my camera. I kept running around snapping pictures today, mumbling that I wasn’t wasting film, and didn’t have to go to the store and wait to have the pictures developed…and as it all sunk in, I took more pictures.
I love my camera.
