Orange Hall, Larne, Northern Ireland original colored pencil drawing by Leslie Hawes (c)
I know. I know.
While I have been busy with my Drawing a Day project, nose to paper, I have been sorely neglecting Leslie’s Blog.
Whaddaya gonna do?
But I have art to show for it.
That’s all for now. Be back in a month…
Leslie
Love the offset composition.

Hi, Andrea! Thanks. I wanted to add the window, but the whole window competed with the door, so cutting it in half, and moving the door over was the only solution. I love that when that happens!

That’s nice being able to call up all of the drawings in one fell swoop. Selfishly, however, I still miss you here.

Excellent art and a fine exercise, about two years ago I decided I’d do one, or more, parodies a day coving music artists’ LP/CD art.

Ian… I miss me ‘here’, too.
I think from time to time that I have something I want to say, but it winds up being vague or silly, or wants to be a venomous rant.
I mutter to myself that a picture is surely worth a thousand words, and head for the drawing board…

Hello Tor! Sorry I missed your comment in the “hold” file.
It is taking quite a bit of arranging of my time to get in my “drawing a day”. I keep telling everybody, it is more likely to be a “drawing pretty often”.
How long did you continue your exercise?

Hi
You’re not the only one who has their hands full!
I’m glad you still keep posting here from time to time though.

Hi, Dan!
I do stop by to clean the spam file from time to time.
I do wish that I would be inspired to write something, though.
Surely I must have at least one more story…

So gorgeous. If that were a photograph it might be less interesting. As a drawing, captivating.
I’d love to see you draw the cookies on my Christmas cookie post (http://casaconiglio.blogspot.com/2009/12/penguins-and-snowflakes.html). Even if my saying so is completely self-indulgent.
