Yep, you read that right… Leslie Hawes Art on Facebook.
What was I thinking?
Not only that, a second Facebook location for just goofing around…Leslie Hawes on Facebook.
I think I may be losing my mind. I think I need to re-think my thinking. This is all so redundant…redundant. Did I already say that?
I already have a blog, Leslie’s Blog. I have an art blog, Leslie’s Art Blog. I have another art blog, Leslie’s Drawing a Day. I have a Flickr Photostream, which is as good as a blog, but with more pictures. And art on Fine Art America. Not to mention the dogs blog, Black Dog Diaries.
I “follow” a bunch of Blogger blogs, and have over a hundred Flickr “contacts”. I try to be a good citizen and leave comments. I try to answer my emails in a timely manner, but I know there are some of you out there saying to yourself, “yeah, right. Timely.”
So this Facebook thing… why in heaven’s name did I do that?
My next post on this blog may be to announce the timely passing of my Facebook persona. Check out any one of my blogs, that I haven’t updated in a while, to keep abreast of what I am not doing…you heard it here first…or maybe you read that on the other blog…

I know I am, but only through learning the hard way. Leisure time seems so scarce these days.

Hey Dan! I’ve been thinking about you recently, wondering how you are. From what I have seen on the web, all of the UK is snow snow snow and cold. If you had leisure time, you’d freeze solid to the ground!
My “spare time” is being ground away in the colored pencil sharpener!
I’m still hanging in there with the drawing a day concept. Missed a few over the holidays, but all in all, keeping up.
I have found Facebook to be a bit confusing so far, but will keep it as one more way for people to view my art. I believe it to be just like any other platform…it really depends on the quality of the content that is added.
With that said, when am I going to start writing on Leslie’s Blog again??

Hi Leslie.
Thankfully, the snow has gone now, though I did get some photographs of sorts, when I eventually find time to upload them.
Facebook is definitely confusing, at least in the sense that it could be much easier to navigate. But, as you say, it is another platform.
When are you going to start writing on Leslie’s blog again? I could ask myself the same question about my own various blogs.
